Monica Hurtado Torres

Monica Hurtado Torres is an unapologetic Queer Xicana Indigena. She was born in Napa, California - the daughter of immigrant parents from Michoacan, Mexico, and the second eldest of four mujeres. Monica received her Bachelor's in Chicana(o) Studies and Sociology from the University of California, Los Angeles. Aside from her educational and relevant research background, she has extensive holistic wellness experience working with Black, Indigenous, Queer, Trans, People of Color (BIQTPOC). She is a model, writer, designer, stylist, creative director, photographer, and makeup artist.
